Veg Curry Puffs

Veg Puffs


Ingredients:
1 cup mixed vegetables
1 small sized onion - finely sliced
1 tomato - chopped
1 small sized potato - boiled, peeled and mashed
Half tsp red chilli powder
Half tsp black pepper powder
Salt to taste
Puff pastry sheets - cut into squares

Method:
In a frying pan, heat oil on medium heat and start frying the onions until they turn brown. Now add the red chilli powder and black pepper followed by tomatoes. Saute for about 2-3 minutes and then add the mixed veggies and mashed potatoes. Fry for about 5-7 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
To tantalize your taste buds you can even add half a teaspoon of cumin/coriander seeds powder (zeera/dhaniya powder). It adds up to the flavor!

Now lay the puff pastries on a baking tray that is lightly greased with butter or oil. Add a tablespoon of the mixture in the centre and fold to seal the sides. You can apply water on the edges for a perfect seal.

In a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees F place the puff pastries in the oven. Bake until they turn golden brown.
Serve warm with ketchup!
