Half kg ground beef
1 large onion - finely sliced
2 tsp ginger garlic paste
Half tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chilli powder
5 medium sized tomatoes - cubed
3 green chillies
Half a cup finely chopped coriander leaves
Salt to taste
In a pressure cooker on medium heat , fry the onions in 2 tbsp oil until they turn slightly brown in color. Now add the ginger garlic paste, turmeric, red chilli and saute for about 2 minutes and then immediately add the beef. Now saute for another 4-5 minutes and then add the tomatoes and salt. Pressure cook for 10 minutes after the first whistle on low heat. Allow the pressure to completely dissipate, then remove the lid and start cooking on medium heat again. Add the green chillies and cook until the water dries off completely or when the oil starts to separate.
Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve with warm parathas, rice and meethi daal.
