Spaghetti With Meatballs

Spaghetti With Meatballs
The ingredients used for meatballs are exactly the same used in my Meatloaf recipe ! You can follow the same procedure for mixing the beef and the rest of the ingredients . The only difference is that instead of packing it into a baking tray I just made bite sized balls out of it . You can either bake or shallow fry these balls and add them to the spaghetti sauce of your choice or home-made sauce and spaghetti !

Prepared/fried meatballs 10-12
Boiled and strained Spaghetti
Spaghetti sauce

Home-made spaghetti sauce :
5 medium sized tomatoes - finely chopped
2 cans tomato paste
2 large onions - finely chopped
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tbsp oregano
1 tbsp dried parsley flakes
1 tsp italian spice seasoning
Half tsp black pepper powder
2 finely chopped green chillies
2 tbsp olive oil
Salt to taste

Method :
In a saucepan, heat olive oil on medium heat and fry the onions and garlic paste for 2 minutes and then add oregano, parsley, italian seasoning, black pepper, green chillies and saute being careful not to burn it !
When the onions become transparent, stir in the tomatoes and the paste and simmer until the oil starts to separate or for about an hour or so ! Add the salt . Now add the prepared meatballs to the sauce , simmer for about 5 minutes and remove from heat.
Pour this over your boiled spaghetti and decorate it with fresh finely chopped Parsley. You can also sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on top of it, it really adds up to the taste ! Enjoy it with Garlic Bread :)
